Dr. Howard Wasdin D.C. (Nov. 8, 1961-Apr. 6, 2023)
Dr. Wasdin became a chiropractor following his career as a Navy S.E.A.L. due to his continued desire to help people. Although he was no longer implementing Hostage Rescue, he continued to serve his community and help people rescue their own health.
Dr. Wasdin was shot multiple times in a horrific battle, known later as Black Hawk Down. As a result of this injury, he had to alter the way he walked to compensate for structural deviations. This subsequently produced severe neck pain and insomnia. A friend suggested he go to a Chiropractor. Being stubborn, he resisted, but the pain increased and he finally agreed to go. After a few Chiropractic adjustments he had no neck pain and could sleep through the night.
Upon getting out of the military, Dr. Wasdin was depressed and longed for the job satisfaction he once had. Going to Chiropractic College helped him find that satisfaction. Nothing was more rewarding for him than to see a patient get relief from pain or to increase his/her level of wellness.
Dr. Wasdin would end every e-mail or text with “Health & Happiness” and a few of his favorite emoji selections, including an American flag, his beloved trident and a heart. At Absolute Precision Chiropractic, we aspire to honor his legacy with the same target of optimum health & happiness and ending daily moments with a heart.
